Home of Nine and Nine and his friends.
Nine and his brother were
feral cats. They were rescued from a car in July 1996.
Nine continued to climb into cars and trucks. While taking another cat to
the vet,
Nine was also in the engine compartment of the truck. He got out at the
vet's office.
It took him four days to return home. His journey required him to cross
the 15 freeway
a shopping mall and escape from coyotes and dogs. He loved to sit in your
lap.
July 2007: Nine has diabetes and has to have two insulin shots a day.
He is now eleven years old.
